Garden shopping with Granny

This weekend Granny and Grandpa McElwain came for a visit. We went to some garden stores in Pt. Pleasant and then had lunch in Stockton.

Bike Safety Day

Yesterday morning I went to Bike Safety day. I was fitted for a new bike helmet, rode my bike around the safety track and explored a fire truck.

Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve

Today was another day of nature! We went with some of our friends to Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve. When we arrived we got a backpack full of all the necessary hiking supplies including a map, binoculars, and magnifying glass. Then we "hiked" to the pond where we saw lots of frogs and stuck our fingers in the water. Of course, no hike would be complete without a snack break! We will have to go back again and check out some of the other trails and the flowers!

Happy Birthday Bubbe!

It was Bubbe's birthday yesterday and after our morning at the park we celebrated with lunch, then dinner and my favorite ice cream cake!!

Tiny Tots:: Water Class

Yesterday Mia and I (along with Bubbe and Pop) went to a Tiny Tots nature class at Tyler State Park. The class started with a snack, then story about water, a science experiment to see what floats and sinks and then a craft. If that was not enough, we then took a trip to the creek where we caught tad poles! It was a very outdoorsy morning and mommy was out of her element!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Last weekend was Luke's 4th Birthday party at Pump it Up! We spent the morning jumping and sliding and having a ball. I think the daddies had more fun then we did! Of course, I always like to be a King and the blow up chair was the perfect throne!

Sesame 2010

Last week was the opening day at our favorite summer hang out, Sesame Place! We met our friends Parker and Macie and cousins Ellie and Grace there. I still love sitting in the fire truck and riding the carousel and balloons! I can not wait for a summer full of Sesame fun with all my friends!
