Beach Day!

Nothing says summer like a trip down the shore! I had a great day with Bubbe and Pop. I just love the water this summer and could not get enough. I am ready to go back this week! (I get the love of the beach from my mommy)

Jack and the Giant

Yesterday Elle, Harper and I enjoyed the play Jack and the Giant at the Open Air Theater in Washington Crossing. The play was performed by children for children. It was a bit hot but we had fun!

Sesame Time!

To stay cool during the heat wave we went to Sesame Place with our friends Luke and Chase.

Summer Camp

Last week I started summer camp at Har Sinai. I had no problem saying good bye to mommy when she dropped me off. The theme of this week was teddy bears! We did a teddy bear craft, had a teddy bear snack and splashed in the pool.

Dutch wonderland

Yesterday we had a "wonderful" day at dutch wonderland. We went with Granny and Grandpa McElwain and cousin Brody and Ryan. Dutch Wonderland is an amusement park in the heart of Lancaster County. It has lots of rides, both wet and dry, for younger kids. The highlight was the 2 train rides, and watching the Thomas the Tank Train show. We also splashed and went on water slides, a boat ride, roller coaster, trucks and many more! It was a perfect family day out!

playground playdate

Thursday was the first time my "original" playgroup all played together in a very long time. we went to veterans park and had a blast at the playground. my mom was in love with the rubber ground!

Howell Living Farm

Yesterday I went with my adopted playgroup to Howell Living Farm. It is farm that is just like it was in the 1900's complete with horses, pigs and sheep. We went inside the chicken coop, stables and got close to the smelly pigs! Then ended with a picnic lunch.

taking it to the street

On Saturday night Sycamore Street in Newtown had a street fair. Though the street fair was a huge let down, the free horse drawn carriage ride was a blast!

field day!

Back to Joseph's school on Friday for field day. Pop and I did the chicken race with Joseph but the best part was the Popsicle at the end!

Cousin Rebecca was also here for a visit and got to come along and cheer the white team on!

Splish Splash

It is time to enjoy the hot weather! I went over to my friends Parker and Macie's house to splash around in their pool! It felt so good on a 90 degree afternoon!

Nanny Goat

We have had a busy week! On Thursday, Joseph's class had their end of year play. Joseph was a troll under the bridge in the play Nanny Goat. He did an excellent job!

After the play, his class had a little party filled with all sorts of sugary treats!
