breakfast with the guy in red

This morning we went to my favorite place, Fedora and had breakfast with Santa. I had Santa hat pancakes and hot chocolate. I also reminded Santa once again of the gifts I want him to bring.

Polar Express

Last weekend, I went on the Polar Express Train at the Strausburg Railroad. I met my granny and grandpa there and off we went. The train took us to the North Pole and back. Santa walked around and handed out a toy and there were some carolers and musicians playing holiday songs. It was nice to see Santa and share a photo but I was more in love with the conductor!

Hanukkah

sorry for the delay...

Hanukkah came early this year! We celebrated by making latkes with Bubbe, going to Hanukkah Wonderland with Parker and Macie, and I had a party at school. We sang lots of Hanukkah songs and did dances and then had latkes and doughnuts.

I also have become a master at driedel and learned some Hebrew along the way. My dad calls me the "jew in training"!

Holidays at Sesame Place

To kick off the holiday season, we went to Sesame Place for their Holiday Party. I got to go on some of the rides in the freezing cold and had some pictures taken with Cookie and Elmo. Mommy liked the discount in the warm gift shop!

Thanksgiving

Last week my school had a Thanksgiving feast. We sang songs, had all sorts of good food like cupcakes, cookies, muffins, apple cider and I think I saw a vegetable in there! I got to show mommy the turkey center piece I made her as well as my place mat and feather hat.

I am thankful that my mommy could be there and she tells me everyday she is thankful for me!

Halloween

I know my mom is a little behind but she was busy the past 4 weeks...

Halloween was so much fun this year. I went to Josephs school for a parade and party, I went to Bubbe and Pop Pops neighborhood parade, I went to Trick a more on Sycamore in Newtown, then the Ladermans annual Boo Brunch and lastly trick or treat with some friends. The UPS man sure got around!

Halloween is here and we are busy! We started with a parade at the library with my friend Luke. Then I went and walked in the parade at my cousin Josephs school.

McElwain October Birthday party

Last week we went to visit my Granny and Grandpa in York. October is a busy month with birthdays for Abby, Brody, Granny and Dave.

Curious George Live

Last week, my parents took me to see my favorite monkey, Curious George, live on stage! In the musical George wanted to help his friend the chef win the great meatball contest. George flew to Rome and entered the meatballs and the chef won! I love that monkey!

First day of preschool!

On Monday, I started preschool. I started off sad that a school bus was not picking me up! I go to school three mornings a week. After my initial scream for my mommy, i was just fine. Lots of my friends are in my class. We had a great time making Rosh Hashana cards and for snack we had apples and honey.

The most exciting part of all is wearing a back pack.

century for the cure

For the second year, my daddy rode 100 miles to put an end to cancer. I got to ride through the finish line with him. I think the more exciting part was the fire truck that we could play on. God daddy! So proud of you.

happy 2nd birthday macie

last weekend, macie had a my little pony party at tehrune orchards, one of my favorite places. We got to ride the tractors, feed the animals and go on a pony ride!

last beach day

last week bubbe and pop pop took Joseph and I down the shore for the final beach day. Even though it was a little windy, we still had a blast! So sad to say good bye to summer.

Northampton, Mass and Boston

A few weeks ago I went with Bubbe, Pop and Mommy to see cousin Rebecca graduate Smith College in Northampton, Mass. While there, I went to the Eric Carle Museum. It had a library where we read books and did puzzles, an art room where I got to paint with Pop and a beautiful gallery of illustrations.

On the way to pick daddy up from the train, we stopped at The Dr. Seuss Memorial Sculpture Garden in Springfield, Mass. They had about 6 gigantic sculptures based on the different Dr. Seuss books.

We also went to Rebecca's graduation and I finally got to meet my Uncle Tom and cousin Jeff. I had so much fun with them both.

From there we went to Boston for a few days. We walked around Newbury Street, Little Italy, Fanueil Hall on the first day. The second day it rained so we went to the New England Aquarium where I got to touch all sorts of slimy ocean dwellers. We had dinner in Copley Square and our last day we stopped in Cambridge so I could get something at the Curious George book store.

It was a great trip. Here are some pics. I will post the link to the whole album.

3.5 birthday party!

We love something to celebrate! The other day was our annual half birthday celebration! Several of Hunters friends came over for a beach party! Sadly, the weather did not cooperate but the kids still had a great time. We have octopus hummus, fruit flowers, sail boat sandwiches, beach cupcakes and sand pudding! It was a great day with great friends!
