happy 4th of july

i know we are a little late in getting this posted, but here are a few pics from our bbq on the 4th. nothing like some backyard fun with cousin joseph and uncle adam and of course having some corn on the cob with bubbe!

Happy 30th Mommy!

This weekend I helped mommy celebrate her big birthday. We started off the long weekend with a trip to belmar for some fun in the sun, we had a few birthday dinners, mommy went to the spa with her friends while daddy and i did boy stuff and then we helped uncle ron turn 60 with a party. mommy and uncle ron each got to blow out the candles and i helped! then to wind down our long weekend, mommy and i had a special shopping trip to flemington with bubbe and i got ice cream!

i love a weekend filled with good food, family, friends and CAKE!! i know mommy had the best 30th ever.

summer soiree

to kick off the first day of summer, friends of bubbe and pop had a huge summer bash. cousin joseph and i got to go on the super slide, the jurassic park mega bounce house and we had cotton candy to top it all off. i had so much fun bouncing with mom and dad in the bounce house and just loved racing down the slide with joseph. it would be so fun if my daddy got one for our back yard!

down the shore

the only way to beat the heat, is take a trip down the shore! since the weather was in the 90's we got an early start on our tans this summer. mommy and daddy took me to belmar for a nice day of fun in the sun. i was not so sure about the sand on my legs but it sure tasted good! i cant wait to get back down there and catch some more rays!

tofu and slides with mia

today mia and i went out to lunch for some crispy tofu sandwiches and then played in the park. the best part of the park was the daring geese that walked within foot steps of us! of course i decided to pick up a piece of goose poop!

splish splash hunter takes swim class

last month i started to take swim lessons at the local y. the water is a little cold when you get in but after splashing everyone around me, it warms up. we sing, splash, kick and try and float.

watch my garden grow

on saturday we finally had some good weather and daddy and i planted our veggie garden. we planted tomatoes, egg plant, lettuce, broccoli, zucchini and some herbs. i just love playing in the dirt with my yard tools, i get that from my daddy! lets hope the plants i walked over survived!

happy mother's day

to celebrate mother's day, i took mommy and bubbe (with daddy, pop, uncle adam, and cousin joseph) to a yummy brunch. later we got to play with great grandmom betty and had dinner. i even let mommy sleep in and take a nap, all in one day!!

sesame place!

on friday night, luke brought me to opening night at sesame place. i could not stop hugging bert and ernie, elmo and abby cadabby. we also got to play in the big bouncy area and see the parade. i cant wait to go back this summer and play in the water rides.

snip it!

it happened... mommy and daddy finally caved in and took me for my first hair cut, although we prefer to call it a trim! we went to snip its, where they feed you animal crackers and let you watch cartoons while the cut your hair. at then end i got to help sweep and put my hair into the prize machine and out came a toy! i still look super cute and my hair is long, just more even!

Brunch with the McElwains

Last weekend Great Grandpa McElwain gathered some of the family together for brunch! I love playing with my cousins and aunt sonya!

last week Mia and I meet up for lunch and some shopping in Princeton! we never got the ice cream our mommies were talking about but hopefully next time!

what better way to enjoy the first really nice spring day of the year then music class, lunch at mediterra, and a walk around princeton with elle and christopher!

happy second birthday, luke

yesterday i helped my friend luke celebrate his second birthday. what a better way to celebrate then with diego!! i love that guy. now maybe mommy will let me watch him on tv.

sushi night with cousin ellie

cousin ellie and i had a great family sushi play date last weekend! our parents even let us have chocolate cake before bed... no wonder we are jumping off the walls for the pictures.
