Last Day of Preschool

It's been awhile... I promise to get some Disney pics posted soon...

Until then, on Monday was my last day of Preschool. I cant believe a year has gone by. I had so much fun at school and can not wait for camp.

At school we had a un-graduation show for the 4 friends that are off to kindergarten. We also sang some songs, had a pizza party, and celebrated the summer birthdays.

Eastover

The last two weeks have been filled with Passover and Easter celebrations. I had a seder at school (working on getting some pics) and then we did a seder with our friends The Lightmans. We celebrated Easter with an egg hunt at Granny and Grandpa McElwains, egg dying in our underwear and then another hunt with Bubbe and Pop.

YSC Volunteer of the Year

Last week, my mommy was named YSC Volunteer of Year. We went to a brunch in Manayunk and she was awarded a glass award, flowers and a beautiful handmade card. I am so proud of her!

Let's Play Ball!

This week was opening day for our Tball team "The Phillies." We got rained out the week before and the weather was not much better this week. I had a lot of fun fielding, running the bases and hitting the ball.

Purim!

PURIM: A Holiday of Reversals
Purim is the most carnivalesque Jewish holiday. It is a day when norms are subverted and reversed to commemorate the reversal of fortune recorded in the Book of Esther. Purim is celebrated with drinking, dressing up, and satirical performances, all recalling the evil decrees of Haman that were ultimately overturned.

To celebrate Purim, we started with a school costume parade and musical performance on Friday. We then noshed on some hamentaschen cookies.

We also went to the annual Purim carnival where we played games and won prizes and of course took home a goldfish! This year we have two that are living in a gladware and they are both named Nemo!

Celebration at school

It seems like we have been celebrating my birthday for weeks! On Friday, Mommy and Joseph came to my school for shabbat and a birthday celebration. Mommy brought munchkins and mini brownie cup cakes for us to enjoy. Since it was my birthday I got to drink the "wine" from the kiddush cup. After the treats, all my friends asked me questions about my favorite things and then each of my class mates drew a pictures in my giant card. It is good to be 4!

Happy 4th Birthday Hunter!

To celebrate my 4th birthday, we went to The Crayola Factory. I watched how crayons were made, colored on the giant side walk, drew on the walls, made some art projects and of course visited the gift shop.

The celebration continued with dinner at Red Robin with Bubbe and Pop and then ice cream cake! It was a great day.

Fireman 4th Birthday Party

sorry for the long delay in posts...

Yesterday we had my 4th birthday party. It was held at the fire house in Newtown. We got to make fire truck cookie creations, fire badges, the fire man did a little show and tell, we hit a pinata and then sparky the fire dog came out.

I am so happy so many of my friends and family were able to help me celebrate! I still have another 9 days before I turn 4 but this was a great start!

Happy New Year!

To ring in the new year, we had our 3rd annual play group party. The Fishbein's hosted with a great night full of food, music, and an early count down!

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun. Santa brought me everything I asked for including a giant fire truck, a piece for my train that goes ding ding ding, a new bike, and of course a recycle truck!

We celebrated at our house in the morning, bubbe and pops house that night and we also celebrated Josephs birthday. The next day we went to granny and grand pops to celebrate and coming home we drove into the snow storm giving us over a foot of snow.

I am already asking when Christmas is again!

Baker Holiday Party

Every year, daddy's work has a holiday party for kids and Santa always makes an appearance. This year the fun game was "chase the elves." I am not sure who has more fun running around the office, the little kids or the employees dressed as elves!
